ZERO SORT RECYCLING INITIATIVE
Members/Renters:
We instituted a new recycling program, ZERO SORT, in 2009 and we are asking for your cooperation in ensuring the program’s continued success this coming season.
In brief, ZERO SORT represents a significant opportunity for all of us associated with the Newburyport Yacht Club to be more responsible with regard to protecting our environment.
During spring commissioning and throughout the summer season, please sort and dispose of your waste materials in accordance with the ZERO SORT guidelines below.
Adhering to these simple guidelines is a relatively easy process - all ZERO SORT “Acceptable Items” are to be placed in the smaller of the two dumpsters, which are now on site.
All waste, which does not meet the ZERO SORT recycling criteria is to be placed in the second, larger dumpster.
Again, the success of this initiative depends entirely on your willingness to follow the guidelines.
Please make a concerted effort to do so and please encourage your fellow members and renters to follow your good example.
