Newburyport Yacht Club Seasonal Memberships Levels

Newburyport Yacht Club offers different levels of seasonal memberships which offers use of club facilities, dockage, winter storage or both.

Seasonal Membership – “Summer Dockage and Winter Land Storage”

Our “full year” seasonal membership provides full access to all Club facilities and activities and includes seasonal launch and haul and winter storage.

  • Limited Assigned berthing location (based on seasonal availability)
  • Seasonal Membership fee plus a per foot charge (see rate schedule)
  • Membership fee may be applied to Charter membership upgrade within one year
  • Dinghy dock tie up based on availability
  • Standard dockside power and water included
  • Use of pool and member facilities
  • Participation in member events
  • Spring Launch and Fall Haul-out
  • Power wash Member Discount
  • Additional electrical power member discount
  • Discounted winter land storage

Our “summer” seasonal membership provides full access to all Club facilities and activities.

  • Limited assigned berthing location (based on seasonal availability)
  • Seasonal Membership fee plus a per foot charge (see rate schedule)
  • Membership fee may be applied to Charter membership upgrade within one year
  • Dinghy dock tie up based on availability
  • Standard dockside power and water included
  • Use of pool and member facilities
  • Participation in member events

 Seasonal Membership – “Winter Land Storage Only”

Our seasonal “Land-only” membership provides haul, power-wash, winter land storage, and spring launch. Includes access to power and water in yard for spring commissioning. Fee may be applied to seasonal land/sea membership (based on availability of berthing locations).

Note: this membership is geared towards those who may be considering a seasonal or charter membership at Newburyport Yacht Club.

  • Membership fee plus a per foot charge (see rate schedule)
  • Membership may be applied to any membership upgrade within one year
  • Spring Launch and Fall Haul-out
  • Winter Land Storage location
  • Access to yard power and water for winterizing and commissioning
  • Power wash Member Discount

NEWBURYPORT YACHT CLUB SEASONAL MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT 2022/2023

Acting as an agent on behalf of a Newburyport Yacht Club Charter Member (“Lessor”) or of Deepwater, Incorporated (“Lessor”), the Newburyport Yacht Club hereby agrees to facilitate a leasing arrangement between the Lessor and the individual named herein (“Lessee”), for seasonal membership including space sufficient to accommodate the yacht listed herein for the purpose, period, and price specified.

I acknowledge that I have read this Leasing Contract in full and that I understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth herein. I acknowledge that I have received a copy of this contract as signed and dated by me below and as initialed by me on the reverse.

I agree to abide by the Newburyport Yacht Club Rules and Regulations updated from time to time.


I have appended copies of the Certificate Page of my insurance policy with minimul liability of $500K, listing Newburyport Yacht Club as a named insured and of my boat’s official registration and/or documentation, or I will provide a copy of these documents prior to my boat being on NYC premises and/or docks.

I understand that the Club reserves the right to measure my boat in order to confirm the dimensions of her overall length and beam as I have provided herein.

SEASONAL SLIP SPACE: I understand that a 25% deposit is due upon signing, 25% is due on or before December 31,and the balance is due on or before April 1. In the event payments are not made accordingly, I understand that the Club reserves the right to cancel this Contract, and to retain any deposits or partial payments I have made. If this Contract is executed after April 1, I understand that the rental fee is due and payable in full upon signing

I understand I am required to display a Waterways Permit on the stern of my boat. (Permits available through Newburyport Harbormaster’s office).

I understand I will be required to purchase at least one Swipe Card or Key Fob at a cost of $15.00 in order to operate the Club’s security system.

I understand that, if I have not entered into a prior leasing agreement with the Newburyport Yacht Club for winter land storage  following summer slip period, and paid the requisite fee, I must vacate the marina on or before October 15, of the current season, or be subject to a charge of $100.00 per day until such time as I do vacate the marina.
